Lemme pique your interest…

I’ve squatted on a number of interesting links for a good long while now, so let me blow your mind with this freakishly long list that I hope you have the patience to go through…seriously incredible stuff

lol, the last time I had a big list of links like this I had made for Sander Kleinenberg, he just got overwhelmed and never really had the time to go through em – give me a lil more credit than he did ok? Haha I know some of you “Digg”, or use reddit, or plenty of other aggregates, but well I’m being honest, some of these will stun you:

Geeky Shit:

LilyPad Arduino

Buy it

^^I just bought a set of LilyPad Arduino gizmos and I’m gonna get started on building a MIDI glove over break!

Previously I had wanted to put a piezo in my shoe with regular Arduino on my ankle with a Bluetooth module: then I’d have wireless toe-tapping to MIDI ;-)

VVVV

vvvv is the visual programming framework that is blowing my mind right now…I really would love a career working with it and music. I’m dead serious.

^^represents some of my ideas towards music/video synthesis…I find this example to be boring and rather ugly, but they show the link between music and video through MIDI. I plan on researching many many different methods of synthesis before I really pursue production so that I can better design the simultaneous generation

Politics:

I don’t mean to push personals…my opinion is that if you just expose yourself to as many different sources of biased information or better yet, factual reporting, then hopefully you can stand in the middle of the polarized madness and reach some kind of awareness…don’t let me offend you guys, but I just wanted to share the following:
